We brought back two bottles of chianti from Italy. I gave one to my sister and kept the other one for us. She drank hers and told us that it was crap. Chris joked that it was probably the sausage and beer she chased it with – and after tonight’s meal I can say he’s right. We enjoyed my first attempt at Cottage Pie (although Chris says that it’s Sheppard’s Pie regardless of ingredients) and the second bottle of Clemente VII Chianti Classico.
MMMMMmmmmm…. it’s great! To any fellow wine lovers out there, just taste the difference between regular chianti and a chianti classico. Once you’ve enjoyed the rich berry dark side of the classico, you’ll never go back.
