It’s been an amazing week here in Samana, but like many good things this has to end. We spent the day doing our best to relax and ensure we didn’t get a sunburn that we’d have to suffer with for the flight home
The afternoon was spent reading on our balcony (Leah) and drifting between awake and asleep on the bed (Chris) before enjoying the late afternoon sun and some drinks with the friends we made.
We had a group dinner with our new friends, before retiring to the lobby bar where we talked until it was time for bed.
Our fears of a second-rate resort, fueled by the negative reviews on TripAdvisor.com, were quickly erased and we were left to enjoy a wonderful week in the sun!
