Today we went to the first home game for Toronto FC. We went with GH and Kavita and despite the chilly temperature, thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. It was fantastic! I am definitely hooked, despite the fact that we lost. Again. 0-4 to open a season is not a good omen for what’s to come, but these are the first four games for these players as a team, so I’m not writing them off.
Post-game we went for drinks and snacks at the Bier Markt, making up for last night. 
Good stuff! I’m glad you had a good time. What’s the football (i.e. Soccer – I hate that word!) scene like in Canada? It’ll be interesting to see if there’s more of a buzz about football in Canada/USA when David Beckham joins LA Galaxy…
