On Friday evening Leah and I headed out to Port Credit to enjoy a night of music at the Mississauga Waterfront Festival. Tickets for the entire weekend were just $25, and if it weren’t for the rain on Saturday we would have been able to see Kathleen Edwards, Sam Roberts, Skydiggers and 54-40… among many other acts. A great deal for sure!

These are not the best recordings I’ve made – but they are very listenable. The constant chatter of the tweens in front of me, the rustling of my gear bag, and other sounds are annoying, but not distracting. There is also a busy set of train tracks right behind the stage, and a number of commuter trains roared by during the performance.
It was a great event, just not for a taper.
